Inroduction of Pump Balancing Machine
The balancing machine uses a belt for rotating the rotor on the balancing machine. The advantage of the belt drive is the error from the thin relatively weightless belt is low giving more precise balancing results compared to an end drive with universal shaft coupling. The belt drive arrangement is ideal for rotors where there is space available to mount a belt, the traction requirements are moderate and higher accuracy is required.
