Adopting a rigid single-column frame structure, the lathe is fabricated with high-quality HT250 cast iron for the column and base, which are rigidly connected to form a stable load-bearing system. The optimized box-shaped cross-section and diagonal rib arrangement of the column effectively enhance bending and torsional rigidity, minimizing deflection during heavy-duty cutting operations. Equipped with high-precision NN30 double-row cylindrical roller bearings and hydrostatic guideways, the horizontal worktable ensures low friction, smooth rotation and excellent rotational accuracy, laying a solid foundation for high-precision machining.

The STARFISH Single Column Vertical Lathe covers a wide range of models (CK5112, CK5116, CK5120, CK5123, CK5125, CK5131, etc.), with maximum swing diameter ranging from 1250mm to 3150mm and maximum workpiece weight up to 12 tons, suitable for machining various large-diameter, short-length workpieces such as discs, flanges, rings and turbine casings. It supports multiple machining operations including turning, boring, drilling, grooving and tapping, realizing integrated machining of complex components and reducing workpiece transfer time to improve production efficiency.

3. High-Precision Control System for Consistent Quality

Equipped with internationally renowned CNC systems (Siemens, Fanuc, Mitsubishi) as optional configurations, the lathe features precise point-to-point control and stable operation, ensuring machining precision up to IT7 level. The spindle adopts ISO 7:24 No.40 taper, with spindle speed ranging from 2rpm to 200rpm (adjustable according to models), and is driven by a direct connection or belt transmission mode for stable power output and low noise. The X, Y and Z axes adopt high-precision linear guides and servo motors, with rapid movement speed up to 24-48m/min, realizing fast and precise feeding and improving machining consistency.
